Over 150 years of cricket in London Ontario

London Cricket dates back to at least 1856 when it was listed in the city's first directory. Over the years the club has had many homes, including Tecumseh Park, Fanshawe Park, the London Psychiatric Hospital grounds, Maitland Park, and most recently the North London Athletic Fields.

We are members of the Hamilton & District Cricket League and in 2019 will be fielding teams the Premier and First divisions.

Club Activities

We field three teams in the Hamilton & District Cricket League, one each division. The 40 over (white ball) league runs throughout the summer, starting in mid June, with playoffs in September.

Monday and Thursday nights are practices for the league team players only.

We also play a small number of club matches and friendlies.

Indoor training sessions start in January. These are held weekly at Centrefield Sports near the 401. We will transition to outdoors as weather permits. $10 per session for paid members, $15 for non-members.

Membership is open to anyone who is interested, and lives in London, Canada. We are not in England. We do not hire professional players.

The base membership fee is $50. This entitles a member to vote, hold office, and register in the league teams. Paid members also are eligible to play in any club matches or friendly matches that are arranged.
